The Original Brown Sugar Bear™
Never have hard brown sugar again.

Our Brown Sugar Bears are very talented.
When soaked in water they will:

  • Keep brown sugar moist for up to 3 months.
  • Keep cakes and cookies moist.
  • Keep raisins, coconut and other dried fruits fresh.
  • Keep popcorn kernels moist, resulting in an increased yield when popped.
  • Keep tobacco and cigars moist.
  • Keep licorice fresh.

When dried in the oven, then cooled and placed in a sealed container they will:

  • Keep spices dry.
  • Keep salt dry.
  • Keep cameras and electronic equipment dry.
  • Keep crackers and chips crispy.

Brown sugar is known to get hard, people have tried different methods throughout the years to solve this problem. To use the sugar bear, the customer simply soaks it in warm water for 20 minutes, then places it in the brown sugar. It will keep the brown sugar moist for approximately three to six months depending on your climate. When you brown sugar begins to get hard again simply take it out and repeat the original process. In short the bear can be used over and over again.

Unlike other methods of keeping brown sugar moist, such as apples, bread or other degradable materials, the bear has the distinct advantage of not crumbling and intermixing with the sugar and therefor not contaminating it with unwanted odors or product particles. Brown Sugar Bear™ will even keep your cakes, cookies and raisins as well as other dried fruits moist.

All our products are environmentally friendly, and reusable.
